Since 2014, we have led efforts to bridge the gap between clinical training and lived experience,
improving care for complex trauma and dissociation.

Our Mission

Our charitable purpose is enhancing mental health and improving treatment through psychoeducational podcasts, webinars, and books for clinicians, coaches, and clients; access to peer groups, topical classes, and immersive symposiums for clinicians, coaches, and clients with lived experience; adding to research in the field through interviews, blogs, books, and professional peer-reviewed journal publications; and broadening awareness, advocacy, and access to services through lived experience collaborations.

“Through both her professional expertise and her willingness to be personally vulnerable,
Dr. Sunshaw is literally saving lives.
She has transformed the landscape of care for complex trauma, expanded access
to critical support, and reshaped our understanding of dissociative trauma responses…
all while empowering clients to reclaim their strength and healing.”
